Grounded in the principles of Well-Being, Ethical Practice, Liberatory Care, and Long-Term Sustainability,
The WELL provides a framework for learning and growth that supports meaningful impact without sacrificing the well-being of those doing the work.
Imagine standing on a piece of dry land, believing there is water beneath your feet even though you cannot see it. Building a well begins with faith and intention. Someone chooses to dig, knowing the work will be difficult and that reaching the water will take time. They dig through layers of clay, rock, sand, and earth, adjusting their tools and approach with each new challenge. Every layer removed brings them one step closer to something that has been there all along, a source of life waiting to be uncovered.
The WELL is built on that same belief. We believe thriving clinicians are developed through intentional growth, learning, reflection, and community. Like a well, we are strongest when we are built with depth rather than speed. And just as a well was never meant to serve only the person who dug it, the work we invest in ourselves ripples outward to our clients, colleagues, organizations, and communities. The WELL exists to help clinicians do the work of digging deeper, so they can continue drawing from a source that sustains them.
The WELL philosophy is woven throughout every aspect of our work.
The WELL is our guiding philosophy. It recognizes that excellence is not achieved through endless sacrifice, but through intentional growth, meaningful connection, and practices that allow people to thrive over time.
Whether you’re earning continuing education, receiving supervision, building a private practice, attending a retreat, or leading an organization, every experience within The WELL is grounded in the same belief: when we invest in the well-being of those who serve others, everyone benefits.
